I’ve been working on a posse of new bright swirl cats for the summer craft shows and art galleries. The textured weathered wood of my old barn contrasts perfectly with the intense wool colours of the hand felted cat sculptures.

Blue Cats!
I just finished needle felting two new blue swirl cats for an upcoming show in Morristown NJ. The 15″ tall cat has a happy smile and purple toes to go with his multi coloured striped legs. Both sculptures are hand felted of solid sheep’s wool. I’ve captured the mischievous look I get from my own cats that appeals to other cat lovers too. The Artider Craft Show
is in the Morristown Armory beginning on Friday March 13th and runs through Sunday the 16th.

Pink Cats
A wonderful returning customer called me late last week because she needed a quick birthday gift for a friend. She wanted a tall pink swirl hand felted cat. By chance I was working on a regular size pink cat so I switched gears and made a tall one. I shipped her tall cat sculpture yesterday but first took a picture of the two together.
